Available at short notice, especially Monday mornings (after weekends).
Recovery equipment and vehicles set up for the task. We have available a recovery vehicle with heavy duty PTO-driven (ex Australian Army) winch. We also have an 8WD heavy haulage configuration by solid-linking two of our 4WDs.
Experience over 30 years: We’ve recovered vehicles from steep, slippery gullies, deep rivers, roll-overs and mechanical breakdowns.

$100/hour per rescue vehicle and operator (min. 2 hours from our Morwell base), deposit required (with credit card details).

MOUNTAIN-TOP EXPERIENCE (Ron) – 0429 121 952

I met Ron and Marcus from Mountain-Top Experience about 9am at Mountain Rivers Tourist Park to head off and hopefully get the stricken vehicle back to civilisation. There were 2 recovery vehicles, both Land Rover Defenders that were twin locked, winches etc with one having rock-crawler gears. We headed up via Walhalla to where the Paj was down beside the creek at the bottom of a track rated double black diamond by some. I had never previously driven this section and am glad I never had. It was steep and very badly overgrown and looked like only bikes had used this section. With both Defenders attached to the front of the paj, we got through the creek and then up the slippery/clay section.... After 3 hours for less than 2km we arrived at the junction. We then headed out via Merringtons up to Walhalla Rd. I was in the middle at this time, as having no drive I needed a vehicle to help slow me down on the steep/slippery sections we encountered. So after 9 hours, the Paj was back in civilization... Huge thankyou to Ron and Marcus; they were incredible!
